Celebrate

{They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.} - Psalm 145:7

Last night, my best friend and I went out to celebrate getting into college! We ate at Riverbirch Lodge and attended the new Safe Haven movie. I cannot describe how much fun we had! Laughing and catching up was the perfect way to celebrate the night. We even went to Lifeway and bought devotional books that we plan on reading together. Over the next few months, we want to prepare ourselves for the college experience and allow our faith to grow stronger. I think it will be the perfect opportunity to grow our friendship and learn about how God is going to use each of us.

I can't wait to share with yall what I'm learning and experiencing!

Dixie Classic Fair

{Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.}
- Philippians 2:1-2

Last week, two girlfriends and I headed to the fair to eat greasy food, ride the Ferris Wheel, and look at the exhibitions.  Despite the downpour of rain that began when we first arrived, we had a great time and caught up on greatly missed "girl talk!" To get out of the rain, we went to see the art and crafts that had won first place in various divisions. Then, we wandered to the stables to feed the hungry animals. They were hilarious...the camel literally tried to eat my camera! After feeding the animals, we realized how hungry we were! Our noses carried us to deep fried three muskateers, krispy kreme burgers, and chocolate covered strawberries! We chowed down to say the least! Once our bellies were full of junk food, we made our way to the Ferris Wheel. We finished  the night with a ride to the top and a stop at Starbucks before heading home. :)

I hope yall get to enjoy your local fair or festival this autumn!
