that four letter word

{I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God. who loved me and gave himself for me.}
- Galatians 2:20

Love is not just a four letter word. Love isn't just a middle school relationship. Love is not just a compliment to get what one desires.

Love is unconditional. Love is giving when you have nothing to give. Love is a smile to a stranger, a random act of kindess, and selflessness.

Love is God and God is love.

{She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.} - Proverbs 31:25

Inspired by the romantic frocks of the English aristocracy, the Tea Time dress is a subdued statement for any occasion. A layer of aubergene lace drifts over a dark plum charmeuse lining, infused with just a hint of stretch to be as dynamic as you are. Fitted through the bodice and natural waist, full through the skirt, and finished with a high boat neck, silky sash and tapered half sleeves, it is an effortless style to wear, whether for high tea or gospel brunch.

Celebrate

{They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.} - Psalm 145:7

Last night, my best friend and I went out to celebrate getting into college! We ate at Riverbirch Lodge and attended the new Safe Haven movie. I cannot describe how much fun we had! Laughing and catching up was the perfect way to celebrate the night. We even went to Lifeway and bought devotional books that we plan on reading together. Over the next few months, we want to prepare ourselves for the college experience and allow our faith to grow stronger. I think it will be the perfect opportunity to grow our friendship and learn about how God is going to use each of us.

I can't wait to share with yall what I'm learning and experiencing!

lovin'

{Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.} - Psalm 63:3

God is unchanging, almighty, and good. I can't comprehend how powerful He is sometimes...it fascinates me. No matter what the challenge, big or small, HE is in control. Afterall, it's only a mountain.

Allow God to surround you with his love.

White as snow

{Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.}
- Psalm 51:7

On friday night, we finally received our first snow! Even though it was more ice and sleet based, it still was lovely to see. My dad fired up the wood stove, making it wonderfully cozy inside. I spent my snow day snuggled up watching movies including Priest, Just Friends, and some Lifetime favorites.

How did y'all spend your snow days?
