First project

{You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.}
- Genesis 3:4-5

This past week has been a complete whirlwind. I completed my first project, pulled my first college all-nighter (or actually a couple), and am just now coming off a coffee-high. I wanted to share with ya'll my project to get some honest feedback and see what you all thought! So without further ah-do.......here is what I like to call Genesis.

The snake represents the serpent in the Garden of Eden while the severe lines represent Eve's converging beliefs. If you would like to know more of the symbolism behind this piece just let me know!

the road less traveled

{The lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they wull never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.}
- Psalm 37:23-24

Have you ever been so focused on the destination that you've looked over the journey that took you there? Sometimes, we as Christians think that we have to participate in a huge outreach project or travel to Haiti in order to make an impact, but really, what if on your daily walk to class or drive to work you impacted someone just as much as you would in another country? Our focus of living a godly life should never be separated from our school time and church time, but rather it should take place ALL the time. When you're traveling to your next destination, slow down, take a minute, notice what and who are around you. You might be suprised at just who is watching and who you're impacting.
