Heavenly.

{The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

I went wandering around my dorm today and found some wonderful spots in the woods. It amazes me how 30 minutes to myself in God's creation can absolutely change my attitude. Escaping from the hustle and bustle and experiencing the quiet serenity of the wilderness is something I miss most about home and my neck of the woods. What I realized today is that when you think that you can't handle it all and you're becoming too busy, just remember to take a deep breath and explore. The exploration  in his majesty of this earthly world is just a reminder that this is only just a taste of what his kingdom will be like.

  1. Super cute, as always!
I know what you mean about the woods, it's so peaceful! Living in the mountains, and in Montana, I often forget to enjoy the majestic white capped peaks and glistening beauty! All I see are the icey roads. But really, I live in a gorgeous state! Right out of a Christmas movie!
It's good to take time to just "be"-and enjoy God's creation!
